I get it, you’ve already gone through an extensive process creating your book and the audiobook industry can feel like a whole new intimidating monster to slay. No worries, I’ve got you! You don’t need to come into this with all the knowledge!

If we are working together, I have an extensive welcome packet to detail the whole process and give you a better idea what to expect. If you have specific questions, send me an email and I’ll do my best to answer them for you!

I have a detailed welcome packet if we work together but here’s the down and dirty basics.

• We decide to work together (yay!) and if we’re working independently, I send my contract along with AI rider.

• You provide a PDF or Word doc of the fully edited record ready manuscript and any character notes (more info provided in packet)

• I read the whole manuscript and take notes along the way

• I go through the whole manuscript again, this time highlighting character dialogue, more notes and vocal choices.

• I will record a 15 minute checkpoint . This is when you get to provide any feedback and approve.

• I record the rest of the book

• Once recorded, I send to a sound company that will proof, send me any pickups (mistakes I made to re-record), edit and then master

• When the project is proofed, edited and mastered, you have a retail ready product ready to go!

Sometimes demo samples aren’t quite enough to see if I’m the right voice for your book baby. Not to worry! I offer a free 3-5 minute “audition” sample (usually 250-500 words) to help with your decision. You can choose one full section or a couple smaller ones with different tones and characters.
